Challenge

Over the course of any given year, a cruise ship can operate in any number of global regions. From Europe to the South Pacific, and the Caribbean to Alaska. When ships move that much, how do you tell a consistent and vibrant story both about whre the ship is globally and the unique histories of the ports the ship is visiting in a specific season?

Results

A series of five interactive experiences that encourage guests to gain a deeper understading of the ship they are on, the ports they are visiting, and the cruise world at large. One highlight is the Virtual Bridge, a pair of transparent OLED screens designed to make guests feel like they are on the ship's main brideg. The screens display current speed, direction, time to port, and other real time operating information.

The original design of these experiences was done at Second Story, where One & 0's Founder worked before branching out. One & 0 inherited the contracts and began installing the experiences on new ships after Second Story closed during Covid.
